Fitness should help you move better, build strength safely, and support your body for years to come.

Fitness should help you move better, build strength safely, and support your body for years to come.

After more than 10 years of teaching group fitness, I saw how often beginners felt like they had to keep up with fast-paced workouts that weren't designed for every body. Many women were dealing with joint pain, previous injuries, or limitations that made high-impact movements uncomfortable, while others were rushing through exercises instead of using slow, controlled movement to build strength safely. I created Rise Within Fitness to give women a welcoming place to build strength through slow, controlled, low impact movement that improves mobility, supports healthy joints, and fits everyday life.

As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) and certified group fitness instructor, I take a health first approach to fitness. Working in the hospital, I see firsthand see how strength, mobility, balance, and independence can change over time. It has reinforced by belief that caring for our bodies before problems arise is one of the greatest investments we can make. That's why every class focuses on proper technique, slow and controlled movement, and joint friendly exercises that help you build strength safely, move with confidence, and support your body for years to come.
